Volume without weight

DROPS Air is a thick Aran blown yarn made with 65% alpaca, 28% polyamide and 7% lana. Its tubular construction is different from that of a traditional thread: the fibers are introduced into an air structure, creating a light and fluffy strand.

The result is a fabric with a lot of volume, but surprisingly light. Garments made with this type of construction can weigh considerably less than others woven with conventional yarns of the same thickness..

Suave, warm and very pleasant

The presence of alpaca provides softness and warmth, while the airy structure achieves a fluffy feel that is especially pleasant in winter clothing.

DROPS Air is perfect for sweaters, jackets, ponchos, scarves, hats and accessories, especially when you are looking for designs with volume, braids and textured points.

A wool that spreads

Each ball contains 50 grams and approximately 150 metros, with an Aran/Worsted thickness and recommended needles of 5 mm.

It is a particularly interesting option for winter projects in which you want to get a large, warm garment without it being excessively heavy..
